She may no longer be the mayor's scheduling secretary, but things are definitely still looking up for Esther Hwang, Mayor Willie Brown's sometimes companion and the Public Works Department's community liaison.

She's got a new swimsuit calendar coming out (available at Barnes and Noble) and a part in a forthcoming movie, tentatively titled "Secret Agent Men."

"I have this one scene where I'm supposed to seduce the guy, catch him off guard, then kick his ass," Hwang tells us.

"Come to think of it," says Hwang, "it's a lot like politics in that regard."
